- Continuing education
co-ordinator [volunteer] in the mid-1990’s for [now merged] Western
Association of Property Inspectors. Seminars given dealt with septic
systems, PVC deck claddings, urethane deck claddings, masonry, wood
roofing and certification, torch-on roof claddings, epdm roof
cladding, tile roof cladding, thermal insulation, earthquake
resistance in residential buildings, stucco cladding systems, wood
protection systems, ceiling heating panels, polybutylene and pex
piping systems, heat recovery ventilation systems, fire and life
safety systems, gas fireplaces, air filtration, CSA-UL, site
drainage management in the municipal context, among others. Co-ordinated
a “General Course in Gas Appliance Inspection” with James Quee
ex-director B.C. Gas Safety Branch.
